Analisis Kepadatan Jentik Nyamuk Aedes Aegypty Terhadap Kasus DBD Di Lhong Raya Kecamatan Banda Raya Kota Banda Aceh Tahun 2014
In 2009, Indonesia had 158.912 cases of Dengue Fever (DF) and 1.420 deaths because of DF. In the same year, Aceh Province had Insiden Rate (IR) of DF 12,4/100.000 peoplewithCase Fatility Rate (CFR) 1,90%. Based on Health Center report in 2009, there have been a total of 26 cases of DF in the subdistrict of Banda Raya. Based on these conditions, the researchers want to analyze the relationship between the densities of larva of the Aedes aegypti for suspected DF in Lhong Raya village in subdistrict of Banda Raya. This study was a descriptive analytic with cross sectional design. The population in this study was the whole house in the Lhong Raya village with a population of 429 houses. There were 81 houses as samples, and the systematic random sampling method was used to take respondents. The research was conducted on July 30 until August 11, 2014. The results of the analysis using the chi-square test with CI = 95%, obtained from all the variables had a significant relationship between the density of larvae of Aedes aegypti for DF in Lhong Raya village: the number of free larvae (P Value = 0.025), the container index (P Value = 0.043), house index (P Value = 0,018), and the Breteau index (P Value = 0.022). The health workers should be able to be more active in socializing and approaching to society to eradicate dengue larvae, so the numbers of dengue cases can be minimized.
