Pengetahuan Remaja Tentang Perilaku Seksual Pranikah Di Gampong Batoh Kecamatan Lueng Bata Kota Banda Aceh
Teenagers are young people in the transition age of childhood to adulthood. The teenage period is also called changing period. Based on the survey of teenage health conducted by BP3A in 2012, it was reported that 6,42% of senior high school students and 12 % university students admit that they have been involved in pre-marital sex. This research is aiming to investigate teenagers’ knowledge regarding pre-marital sex behaviour. The research design is descriptive explorative using crosssectional study approach. The population of the research are all teenagers age 13-24 in Batoh, Lueng Bata district, Banda Aceh, the sample are also those 70 teenagers. The sampling is conducted using simple random sampling and data was then analysed using univatiate analysis. The result of this research shows that in general teenagers have lack of knowledge about pre marital sex behaviour (40 teenagers, 57,14%), 45 teenagers (64,29%) have good knowledge about definition of pre marital sex behaviour, 45 teenagers (64,29%) have good knowledge of the source of pre-marital sex behaviour, 49 teenagers (70%) have lack of knowledge of the forms of pre-marital sex behaviour and 36 teenagers (51,43%) have good knowledge of the effect of pre-marital sex behaviour. It is suggested that teenagers need to improve their knowledge especially the form of premarital sex behaviour to avoid any form of pre-marital sex. It is expected that parents and society to supervise the teenagers behaviours. Keywords : Knowledge, Teenagers, Pre-marital sex behavior.
